A website left unmaintained becomes a security risk, then a performance problem, then eventually something the business is quietly embarrassed by. The Wilding Care plan removes that risk without requiring the client to think about plugin updates, server security, or backup schedules.
The plan operates on a monthly cycle. Plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates are applied to a staging environment, tested for compatibility and visual breakages, then pushed to production. This staging step is important — it is how we catch a plugin update that breaks a contact form before visitors encounter it, rather than after.
Security monitoring runs weekly. Daily off-site backups run with a tested restoration process — knowing a backup exists is worthless if the restoration has never been tested. Performance is checked monthly against the baseline established at launch, because third-party script additions and plugin accumulation erode performance over time.
The plan includes a monthly content allowance of two hours. This covers routine updates most businesses need but never do because logging into the CMS seems more trouble than it is worth — a price update, a new team member, an outdated service description. Two hours handles more than most clients use in a month.
For websites we did not build, a two-week onboarding assessment runs first: reviewing code quality, security posture, plugin stack, and current performance. We fix critical issues before the plan activates. The assessment cost is included in the annual plan price.
Annual plan, billed once. Renewal rates do not increase for clients on the plan for two consecutive years.
